Learn More About Sign-Up Parties

Each year, many sign-up parties are hosted by Eastside Catholic School parents through the STARS Gala Auction, presenting opportunities to gather with old friends and meet many new ones. Funds raised through these parties benefit Eastside Catholic School and its student programs. Party registrations are non-refundable, however they are transferable to another guest.

101 - Photography Party

Tired of shooting on automatic mode? Blurry pictures? Blown out backgrounds? Do you want to get the best pictures out of that expensive Digital SLR camera? It’s time to take a class and get some training. Learn from seasoned photographers Mike Iem (EC parent '17, '19) and Robert Green who will walk you through the basics and help you learn to really use your Digital SLR camera to take stunning pictures. Students as well as adults are welcome. We will start off with a lecture and step-by-step workshop designed to fast-track you to manual mode. Everyone will walk away with the knowledge and experience of how to use their camera. Participants must bring a Digital SLR camera (Canon, Nikon, etc.).

103 - Sip and Bling - Jewelry Make-And-Take Party

Limited to 14 Individual Guests

Come participate in a jewelry make and take party just in time for Mother’s Day. Create a fun piece of jewelry for a special mother or friend in your life or for yourself. Led by Erin Vickers, EC’s own jewelry maker (don’t quit your science teaching day job), you will learn to use tools to combine beads and wire into a pair of fun earrings or necklace pendant. The party includes two hours of instruction and work time and all the required project materials plus beverages and delicious appetizers, of course!
