2024 Making A Difference

For those new to the Eastside Catholic Community or a first-time attendee to our STARS Gala, the "raise the paddle" moment at each year's auction asks friends and families to make a cash contribution to fund a significant need at the school. Gifts range from $100 to $100,000 and anywhere in between!

We call this "Making A Difference"

Mental health touches all of us, directly or indirectly, through our personal journeys or those of our friends, family and colleagues. Recognizing the significant impact of mental health and wellness, we're dedicating this year's Making a Difference initiative to enhancing support for those facing mental health challenges in our community through establishing a comprehensive endowment. We are committed to honoring every community member with compassion and understanding.

 This initiative will enable access to expanded resources for mental well-being support at EC in perpetuity. Each year, the funds generated by the endowment will ensure additional opportunities and resources are available for our students, faculty and staff. These resources may include access to cognitive health and emotional well-being experts, professional development or specialized training for our educators, or innovative approaches for our community, such as empowering students to care for their own well-being, therapy animals, mindfulness and meditation practices to help alleviate stress or programs to enhance connectedness among students, faculty and families.

Your support of this initiative will ensure every community member has access to the resources they need to feel heard, loved and supported.
