We are proud to announce this  year's STARS Gala Auction theme, "Reach for the Stars." Each year, the STARS Gala Auction theme is chosen with students at the forefront of EC's signature fundraising and social event. Funds raised enable us to continue our mission of taking care of each other and to ensure that our students are given the opportunity to pursue intellectual excellence, nurture relationships and inspire a life of leadership and service to others without limitations.

The "Reach for the Stars" theme serves as a reminder to pursue a higher calling with unwavering strength, unbending confidence and steadfast determination.

We are also pleased to announce our 2022 Auction Co-Chairs Thomas and Kristin Vogele. Thomas and Kristin are lifelong residents of the Eastside. Kristin grew up in Bellevue and Thomas in Kirkland. Both are graduates of Lake Washington High School and the University of Washington.

Thomas and Kristin have three sons, Anders '9, Graeme '22 and Marcus '24. Thomas has two sisters who attended EC when the campus was in downtown Bellevue. Over the years, Thomas and Kristin have enjoyed supporting the EC community. Thomas has chaperoned the ski bus, coached CYO soccer and participated in SWIRL. Kristin has volunteered in numerous roles on PTF and PFSA, and this is her seventh year help1ng with the auction.
